You would think that living in Scotland would mean it would be an easy thing to buy a Midgie net!!! No way. 7 shops later we eventually found one, Oh my.
Then I wanted to buy what in America they call a rash suit , but over here it just something you wear over a swim suit to prevent sunburn! can you believe with our weather I found one in the first shop I went into, and the cutest wee pair of jelly shoes to match. It is only for a 8 month old baby after all... Awww
Exhausted and somewhat weary my friend and I went into a shop, sat down and each had a bowl of delicious lentil soup.
home at last, feet in a cold bowl of water and a cool drink of Iron Bru. Yes a very good day.
