1 2 3 and Counting

Well I heard on the radio that we may have 10 more days of this cold snap. I remember heavy dumps of snow in previous years but not this sustained cold freezing icy weather. Our newly found extended family are experiencing heavy snow falls in England, I just hope they can enjoy snow ball fights, building snowmen and igloo's and sledging. Well you might as well get out there. I remember running out of dry gloves and putting old socks on and getting hot Ribina, but never the cold temperatures . I was having too much fun.
Our daughter flies back to the USA today.... but it was so good to be with so much of the family.
Now we go back to our normal routines of work and play this week, remember to smile and make all you see happy.
The news seems quite gloomy, but we wake to a way of life that is not perfect perhaps, but it can be joyous and free.
( sound a bit pretentious Eh!!)

  1. I a, so happy to have your blog address again. I love hearing your news. I will post on mine when we come back from camping. We are going to a place about 1 1/2 hrs drive from here, inland, so it will be hotter still, and we will be camping for 5 nights. I am taking Bradley and Joshua with me so all the grand kids will be there. We will be beside the river so there will be lots of swimming, hot days, and I am taking lots of games and books for the kids. Their bikes and a scooter are going plus Mitch is taking his little motorbike so there will lots to do. We have been having hot days, 36 degrees a few days ago so hopefully it will continue. Hard to fathom that you are in the midst of winter. Bye.
